It offers dynamic networking opportunities through an annual series of social and learning events, including a celebratory dinner in December each year.
Membership is diverse, ranging across all backgrounds, knowledge, expertise and experience with no limits such as age or business area. This gives an interesting and rich mix of members and guests at every event, allowing others to access, learn and develop new skills and knowledge in an informal, friendly, safe environment, whilst having an enjoyable social experience too.
OWF provides an ideal environment for anyone wishing to build new abilities to enhance or change their career path, including those wishing to return to the workplace after a career break.
Events offer unique opportunities to be in the company of well-renowned speakers, coaches and celebrities which they would not otherwise have the chance to meet.
Whenever possible OWF organises events in places which are not generally open to the public, bringing added interest and enjoyment.
This approach brings everyone into contact with others they may never normally meet but who could be supportive and pivotal in achieving life aspirations and potential.
To allow members to come immediately after work, light refreshments are offered where appropriate to enhance the networking opportunities at each event before the start of the main programme.
There is no official membership model or joining fee to pay – just take a look at the events programme and book for any event which catches your attention and interest. As a totally voluntary organisation with no formal funding, a small charge is made to cover costs for each individual event. This is quoted with the details for individual events and on the online booking form.
OWF has an extensive mailing list, enabling reminders to be sent out to each member before each event, together with booking details.
